We at Le Navet Bete recognise the importance of your privacy and our role in making sure that the information you provide us with is protected and respected.
Below we outline what data we collect and why, how it is stored and who has access to it. We want to be as open and transparent as possible about what data we hold about you. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch at info@lenavetbete.com
Le Navet Bete are a private limited company (company number 08612479) and are also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) (registration number ZA531872).
What data do we collect?
We collect anonymised data from our tour venues to help better understand our audiences and inform ongoing marketing and communication strategies as well as for reporting to our funders such as Arts Council England.
This information is based on booking data collated by venues via their box office systems and is all completely anonymised prior to being transferred to Le Navet Bete. This data includes (but is not limited to):
Booking behaviour (weeks booked in advanced, group size, booking crossover between shows, how you heard about the show)
Customer Demographics (age and location, including postcode)
Reattendance to see Le Navet Bete (if we are returning to a venue multiple times)
Drivetime analysis (distance travelled to the venue to see Le Navet Bete)
Attendance from those benefiting from access performances
We also run an email newsletter through a platform called Mailchimp. This mailing list allows us to keep audiences across the country up to date with the latest information about Le Navet Bete, including new tour dates and new show announcements. This newsletter requires you to input your name and e-mail address as well as giving you the option to input which region of the UK you are subscribing from so we can ensure targeted communications where possible.
There are two ways in which e-mail address data is collected and added to our mailing list platform:
A sign-up form via our website: this requires you to input your email address and voluntarily opt-in to receive email communications from us using a tick box.
Data sharing agreements with venues: we also have data sharing agreements in place with a number of touring venues. These agreements allow audiences to opt-in to receive e-mail communications from us directly when booking a ticket for one of our shows through the venue’s booking system. This data is then securely transferred to Le Navet Bete via encrypted and password protected Excel csv document before being uploaded to Mailchimp. Once uploaded to Mailchimp the original csv files are delete from both emails and downloads on computers. We will then email any new opt-ins from the venue within two weeks of receiving the email data to ensure that they are still happy to be added to the Le Navet Bete mailing list and offering an opportunity to unsubscribe.
How is your data stored and who has access to it?
Any anonymised data about our audiences is held indefinitely to allow for historical analysis and reporting. This data is held on password protected computers and hard drives.
Any e-mail address data held in Mailchimp is held securely via their password protected site. We update the password every three months to ensure maximum security. You are able to unsubscribe from our mailing list or update your mailing preferences at any time using the ‘Unsubscribe’ or ‘Update my Preferences’ button in the footer of the email. Alternatively, you can contact us on info@lenavetbete.com. You will not be added to the mailing list again after unsubscribing unless you choose to resubscribe yourself.
Our Marketing and Audience Development Manager and the three Co-Directors of Le Navet Bete all have access to the above information. We have never, and will never share, your personal data with any third parties and all information is stored safely and securely.
Access to information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email us at info@lenavetbete.com. We want to make sure your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
