Le Navet Bete present The Greatest Story…Never Told, a show jam-packed with everything you know about the most famous birth in history but then turned upside down and inside out.
Join us on the incredible journey to Bethlehem, reliving the story we all know and love that has been transformed into a magical rollercoaster donkey-ride of clowning, live music and total tomfoolery.
All your usual favourite Nativity characters (Mary, Joseph, the Archangel Gabriel), plus some you didn’t even know were there (Engelbert Humperdinck, King Herod’s man-servant Herbert, some extra sheep). All of this and much more makes this a fun, fantastical frolic for the whole family this Christmas.
This show was a Le Navet Bete and Barbican Theatre Plymouth co-production.
The Greatest Story…Never Told was first performed on Wednesday 14th December 2011 at the Barbican Theatre, Plymouth, Devon, UK (and subsequent performances at the Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter in January 2012 and the Barbican Theatre over Christmas 2012).
